Field Service Technician
In-Gas Direct, Inc. is seeking to fill positions on our Field Technician team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to utility and electrical power customers in the field.
This role includes specialized, niche services related to on-site electrical insulating gas handling. Additional responsibilities may include performing on-site maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on electrical insulating gas handling equipment.

Core Responsibilities
- Technical Operations: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex electro-mechanical equipment.
- Maintenance: Execute rigorous preventive maintenance schedules to ensure equipment longevity.
- Documentation: Maintain precise, accurate records of all service calls, repairs, and parts used.
- Customer Relations: Provide expert technical support and maintain clear, professional communication regarding service needs.
- Safety & Organization: Adhere strictly to safety protocols while maintaining a clean, efficient workspace.
Work Environment & Logistics
- Travel: High mobility required (approx. 80%). Involves domestic and international travel to power utility sites via air and ground.
- Dual Setting: * Field: On-site diagnostics and repair at utility locations.
- Shop: Advanced technological environment focused on SF₆ gas industry equipment and non-travel tasks.
- Support: Includes on-call technical responsibilities for the technician team.
